The Sales Engineer is a key member of our sales team and responsible for delivering compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of Guardian Analytics solutions as well as managing the discovery, evaluation and solution value stages of our sales process. Working in conjunction with sales leadership and the sales team as the key a trusted advisor to our client base. The Sales Engineer must be able to effectively engage our stake holders in a wide range of discussions including Guardian Analytics solution and technology benefits, FI industry fraud best practices as well as technical aspects of enterprise cloud deployments including data security, privacy and web services integrations. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. Must be organized and analytical, and be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Prior experience is Financial Services is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our direct and channel sales teams to execute the technical aspects of the sales process
  • Work with customers to develop pre-sales technical solutions in coordination with Guardian professional services team
  • Deliver technical demonstrations of Guardian’s products to prospects
  • Convey customer requirements to product management team
  • Assist in responding to technical questions on RFP’s
  • Act as a technical evangelist, promoting Guardian’s products and associated technologies at seminars and industry events

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of data integration mechanics, web and API data exchange mythology
  • Familiarity with web services technologies (XML, WSDL, SOAP, ect)
  • Working knowledge of Java
  • Solid understanding of the IT industry, especially middleware/integration to capture and receive data via Web Services
  • Working knowledge of banking systems (Online banking, wire and ACH), and experience integrating platform data into external systems
  • Understanding of empirical probability modeling and Bayesian analysis
  • Excellent communications and executive level presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel (US and Canada)
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Security and financial systems experience a plus

Product Manager

As a product owner, you will drive new products and innovation in the areas of analytics, data visualization, big data, machine learning, financial services, payments, and many other emerging technologies. You will work closely with customers, engineers, partners, sales, and marketing to define and create new products and solutions. The successful candidate will own the product, drive the whole product development process from concept to production with a focus on excellence and a sense of urgency. Your contribution will be highly visible and greatly contribute to the company’s success. You will be the subject matter expert for your products and offer expert advice on capability and market requirements – you are the “voice of the customer.” This role is located in our Mountain View Office.

 Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage products and solutions from concept through production deployment
  • Deliver products and solutions that customers love and allow the company to expand into new markets
  • Define user stories, manage the product backlog, and collaborate closely with team members to ensure the successful launch and deployment
  • Maintain alignment with our customer’s and partner’s product roadmaps and plans
  • Assist Sales when required, provide sales enablement and training, participate in key customer visits when required
  • Define product positioning and messaging, assist with product launch activities

Qualifications:

  • Product management experience required
  • Experience in B2B Enterprise software application product management required

IT Systems & Support Administrator

As an IT systems & support administrator you will be the front line, go-to person for all IT service requests supporting end-user’s computer hardware, networking and software needs. You will get to touch a lot of cool technologies and make recommendations to implement new systems to get the job done efficiently. You will manage and perfect the Windows and Mac OS imaging platforms, as well as, the end-user on and off boarding procedures. You will be tasked with creating knowledgebase articles and other detailed documentation to assist other administrators and users in handling these technologies, as well as ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Freshservice ticketing platform for multiple support groups to manage open cases
  • Build, test, deploy, improve upon Windows 7/10/Server and Mac OS images/imaging workflows using WDS/MDT and Deploystudio
  • Further streamline and perfect employee on and off boarding procedures
  • Create and continually update knowledge base articles for users and administrators
  • Maintain user accounts across multiple systems and track all IT hardware assets
  • Maintain and support office printers, conference rooms and A/V equipment
  • Manage multiple local and cloud services

Qualifications

Well qualified applicants will have experience managing and maintaining mixed OS environments, a commitment to customer service excellence, outstanding problem solving abilities, strong written and oral communication skills, and a desire to drive toward standard, repeatable processes.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of IT helpdesk and IT systems administration
  • Advanced level support skills in Windows and Mac OSs. You should be comfortable using CMD and Terminal for file system navigation and command execution
  • Advanced level understanding of the MS office suite on Windows and Mac, especially Outlook. You should know what an .OST file is and what is means to delete it
  • Experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows File Server, and other Windows Server features and roles
  • Experience with system imaging on Windows and Mac. You should know what ‘sysprep’ is and why it’s used
  • Experience administering a VMware ESXi environment or comparable Hypervisor
  • Demonstrable knowledge in networking protocols including but not limited to; DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, PXE
  • Physical ability to assist in racking server equipment, moving printers, bending under desks, and setting up ergonomic desk attachments. You should be able to lift a 60 pound printer comfortably by yourself.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Office 365, Dell Kace, Dell Command Suite
  • Scripting experience in Windows and Mac command line languages, Powershell, and/or Python
  • Some level of Linux/Unix troubleshooting skills and/or system administration

The Database Administrator (DBA) will be a member of the Cloud Operations team managing all aspects of our secure Software as a Service (SaaS) infrastructure and application environments.  This position will work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to improve overall database usage and management.  As an Operations team member, you will learn how to successfully manage our environment and be part of deploying new application releases and integrating customers into our SaaS platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and scale databases to support Guardian Analytics’ SaaS infrastructure
  • Develop scripts, metrics, and applications to automate and improve operational processes and availability, scaling, and security of the production environment
  • Build and maintain development, management and monitoring systems.
  • Part of team providing 24×7 production support for applications and infrastructure (participate in weekly on-call rotation)
  • Working closely with database architects and development engineers, optimize database usage through performance tuning and/or improvement of application queries, system design, etc.
  • Assist development and Operations teams design and evolve database schema and database platforms

Skills:

  • Critical thinking abilities, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with best practices around database operations

  • Hands on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience with database tuning and running diagnostics that help performance and optimization

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of database administration experience (MySQL and its related forks (PerconaDB, MariaDB, etc.), systems administrator duties and responsibilities a plus
  • B.S. or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a distributed Cloud Environment
