Product Manager

As a product owner, you will drive new products and innovation in the areas of analytics, data visualization, big data, machine learning, financial services, payments, and many other emerging technologies. You will work closely with customers, engineers, partners, sales, and marketing to define and create new products and solutions. The successful candidate will own the product, drive the whole product development process from concept to production with a focus on excellence and a sense of urgency. Your contribution will be highly visible and greatly contribute to the company’s success. You will be the subject matter expert for your products and offer expert advice on capability and market requirements – you are the “voice of the customer.” This role is located in our Mountain View Office.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Own and manage products and solutions from concept through production deployment
  • Deliver products and solutions that customers love and allow the company to expand into new markets
  • Define user stories, manage the product backlog, and collaborate closely with team members to ensure the successful launch and deployment
  • Maintain alignment with our customer’s and partner’s product roadmaps and plans
  • Assist Sales when required, provide sales enablement and training, participate in key customer visits when required
  • Define product positioning and messaging, assist with product launch activities

 

Qualifications:

  • Product management experience required
  • Experience in B2B Enterprise software application product management required
  • Experience in Cloud / Behavioral Analytics / Security / Payment background preferred
  • Data Integration knowledge (Informatica, Mulesoft, …) is useful
  • Technical Degree required
  • Demonstrated track record for creating and launching successful products

Customer Onboarding Business Process Analyst

We are looking for a Business Process professional to build and deliver a successful product adoption process for our customers.  The goal of this service is to help the Guardian Analytics customer understand and implement the process changes necessary to ensure successful usage of the Guardian Analytics solutions.  The candidate will work with the customer to ensure successful product adoption. The candidate needs to thrive in a dynamic work environment, be self-motivated, and have exceptional time management skills.

As a Customer Onboarding Business Process Analyst you will analyze the customer’s existing business processes, understand the changes required to introduce Guardian Analytics’ solutions, help the customer document those changes, and leave the customer with the artifacts necessary to ensure continued success. You will be responsible for constructing new process documents, building a product usability process, and helping the customer understand the required process changes. This role reports to the Director, Customer Services and is located in our Mountain View Office.

What you’ll do: As a Customer Onboarding Business Process Analyst your essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Build materials that can be re-used with each new deployment to help our customers successfully introduce Guardian Analytics into their existing business processes
  • Interview customers during the implementation to understand their existing business process
  • Help customers introduce process changes through their change management processes to ensure successful introduction of the Guardian Analytics solutions
  • Facilitate implementation of new processes through training sessions and the development of appropriate documentation
  • Develop post-implementation verification plans in partnership with the Customer Success team

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the following:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing business analysis in enterprise environments
  • Minimum 5 years of proven ability to conduct accurate analysis, solve problems, assess capabilities, conduct process change planning, and manage process development and execution through change management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing Process Flows, Use Cases and related deliverables
  • Self-starter with a unique blend of creative problem solving, business sense, and analytical aptitude
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • A 4-year degree in business, MIS, computer science, engineering or equivalent is recommended but can be substituted for substantial on the job experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Experience of Financial Services industry a plus
  • Experience in Fraud Analysis or related investigative services a plus

The Sales Engineer is a key member of our sales team and responsible for delivering compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of Guardian Analytics solutions as well as managing the discovery, evaluation and solution value stages of our sales process. Working in conjunction with sales leadership and the sales team as the key a trusted advisor to our client base. The Sales Engineer must be able to effectively engage our stake holders in a wide range of discussions including Guardian Analytics solution and technology benefits, FI industry fraud best practices as well as technical aspects of enterprise cloud deployments including data security, privacy and web services integrations. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. Must be organized and analytical, and be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Prior experience is Financial Services is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our direct and channel sales teams to execute the technical aspects of the sales process
  • Work with customers to develop pre-sales technical solutions in coordination with Guardian professional services team
  • Deliver technical demonstrations of Guardian’s products to prospects
  • Convey customer requirements to product management team
  • Assist in responding to technical questions on RFP’s
  • Act as a technical evangelist, promoting Guardian’s products and associated technologies at seminars and industry events

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of data integration mechanics, web and API data exchange mythology
  • Familiarity with web services technologies (XML, WSDL, SOAP, ect)
  • Working knowledge of Java
  • Solid understanding of the IT industry, especially middleware/integration to capture and receive data via Web Services
  • Working knowledge of banking systems (Online banking, wire and ACH), and experience integrating platform data into external systems
  • Understanding of empirical probability modeling and Bayesian analysis
  • Excellent communications and executive level presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel (US and Canada)
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

The Database Administrator (DBA) will be a member of the Cloud Operations team managing all aspects of our secure Software as a Service (SaaS) infrastructure and application environments.  This position will work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to improve overall database usage and management.  As an Operations team member, you will learn how to successfully manage our environment and be part of deploying new application releases and integrating customers into our SaaS platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and scale databases to support Guardian Analytics’ SaaS infrastructure
  • Develop scripts, metrics, and applications to automate and improve operational processes and availability, scaling, and security of the production environment
  • Build and maintain development, management and monitoring systems.
  • Part of team providing 24×7 production support for applications and infrastructure (participate in weekly on-call rotation)
  • Working closely with database architects and development engineers, optimize database usage through performance tuning and/or improvement of application queries, system design, etc.

Guardian Analytics is seeking a passionate key contributor that will provide post-sales implementation services to new customers. Responsibilities:

  • Work in a consultative capacity providing clients with implementation services including; process assessments, customer education, implementation, and best practices
  • Directly support customer deployments
  • Collaborate with engineering and network operations to develop tools and operational processes that will further optimize customer provisioning and support
  • Execute multiple projects end-to-end
  • Customer support including troubleshooting, problem resolution and issue tracking

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in enterprise software, specifically services and support
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Systems administrator on both Windows and Linux servers
  • Analytical and business-process skills and the ability to apply them to technical solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams such as engineering and quality assurance
